How does the taxesanytime.com software work? What do I need to get started?

1. You will need your tax information, including forms W-2 and 1099s.
2. Log into our secure site and follow the instructions. Our easy to complete screens will guide you through the process.
3. Once your return is completed, you can pay with VISA, MasterCard, or Discover and some major debit cards.
4. You can e-file your federal return or print it and send by US mail. State returns can be prepared at no extra cost and e-filed or printed.

What are the supported browser types and minimum computer requirements?

Web Browser Recommendation:
It is HIGHLY recommended that you use Microsoft's Internet Explorer version 6.0 Service Pack 1 or higher web browser when using taxesanytime.com. If you do not have this browser, please visit Microsoft's website where you can download this software free of charge.
Other compatible web browsers are also supported.

PDF Viewer:
You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader version 4.0 or higher in order to view and print the PDF version of your return. If you do NOT already have this software visit Adobe's web site and download this program for FREE.

Online Filing Guidelines: (as specified by the IRS)

1. No more than 5 electronic returns may be transmitted originating from the same unique email address.
2. No more than 5 Online Returns will be allowed from the same IP Address within a sixty-minute time frame.

Is my information protected? Is the taxesanytime.com site secure?

Taxesanytime.com uses the highest-level encryption technology commercially available and works with the IRS and state tax authorities to protect all your information. Your information is held in strictest confidence by taxesanytime.com and none of your information is shared with any third party other than the IRS and state tax agencies.

Do I have to complete my return in one session?

You do not have to finish your return in one session. Your data is saved and you may log in with your username and password whenever it is convenient for you to complete your return.

Does taxesanytime.com save my information?

During the taxesanytime.com return preparation process, the data you enter on each page is automatically stored when you click to go onto the next screen.

If you begin your return but don't send any data to the taxesanytime.com computers for a period of 20 minutes, you will be logged out to protect your information from an unauthorized person.

Your data will be saved should you get disconnected, or log out, so you can log back in and resume work where you left off.

Your data will be deleted from the taxesanytime.com computers after October 23, 2011 if you start your 2010 return but don't file it or print it out.

Can I save a copy of my return for my records?

After taxesanytime.com has reviewed your return for errors, you will be able to print your return along with any worksheets you choose for your records.

Can I retrieve my username or password if I lose them?

Taxesanytime.com will not disclose usernames for security reasons. If you forget your username or password, send us an email and we will send your user name and password via email.

What do I do if I make a mistake?

If you catch your mistake before you have filed your return with the IRS, just change your answer in the entry box. If you don't discover the mistake until after your return is filed with the IRS, you will have to file an amended return with the IRS or your state. Amended returns can not be electronically filed. They must be mailed to the IRS.

How do I get my refund or pay taxes if I owe them?

If you're expecting a refund, you have the option of having the funds deposited directly into your bank account or you can choose to have the check mailed.

If you owe taxes, you can arrange for an automatic withdrawal from your bank account and can specify any date up to April 15, 2011. You can also mail a check with your printed return or with an e-file voucher if you e-file your return.

You can check the status of your return any time by logging into your return. Your status will be provided as you are logged in. You will also be notified via email when your return is accepted or rejected by the IRS.

Does taxesanytime.com offer a guarantee?

Fiscal Tax Company, the parent company of taxesanytime.com, will pay for any penalties and interest assessed by the IRS if the taxesanytime.com software makes an error in calculation in the preparation of your return. However, Fiscal tax Company will not be responsible for paying additional taxes as a result of such an error. Usage of taxesanytime.com tax service is governed by the taxesanytime.com End User License Agreement which is presented to you when you register for taxesanytime.com service.

How long will it take me to prepare and file my return?

The time it takes to prepare your return will depend on the complexity of your return. The average is one to four hours. If you can't finish your return in one session, you can finish it at a later time by logging in with your username and password.

Taxesanytime.com is risk free since you can try it before you buy it. You are not charged until you have entered your tax information and are ready to file. The fee includes preparation of both your federal and state returns and e-filing or printing your completed return.

What is e-filing?

Electronic Filing (e-filing) is a method of transmitting tax return information directly to the IRS which is much faster, more secure and accurate and helps get your refund quicker.
