2008 Tax Rebate Check Calculator
If you are a returning visitor, you might notice that the Tax Rebate Calculator looks different. The previous calculator from PBS was based on pending legislation and did not necessarily reflect any last minute changes to the bill. The Tax Rebate Calculator now on this page is based on the legislation that passed the Senate and was signed into law by President Bush. If you still want to use the PBS Tax Rebate Calculator you can find it here.
Please note! The Federal income tax rebate is not the same as the Federal income tax refund. The tax refund has existed every tax year in our living memory. It is what many people get within a couple weeks of filing their tax return. The tax rebate is a special rebate for only the 2007 tax year. The tax rebate checks will be sent separate from the tax refund checks and might hit the mail as early as May. To qualify for a tax rebate, certain income requirements on the 2007 tax returns apply. To see if you might qualify for a tax rebate check and how much that tax rebate check might be, use the calculator below.
Do not use this calculator to estimate either what you might owe or what you might get as a refund on your 2007 Federal income tax return. If you want to estimate your 2007 income tax return, use this Online Tax Calculator provided on 1040.com by our friends at Drake Software.
Although we think this new Tax Rebate Calculator is an improvement over the earlier one, Fiscal Tax is not the author of this Tax Rebate Calculator and cannot verify that the calculations are always correct. There is no guarantee, express or implied, that the results are correct. Use it only to get an idea or estimate of what your tax rebate check might be.
